Welcome to Penny’s Urban Farm. PUF grows various nutritious herbs, fruits, vegetables, and
botanicals. Our traditional and hydroponic model allows us to grow year-round regardless of
the season. Since planting our first seed in Spring 2018, PUF has promoted a sustainable, healthy lifestyle one seed at a time.

3. We conserve water. Our Hydroponic growing systems use approximately 90 percent less water than soil-based farming techniques.

4. We don’t use herbicides or pesticides in our hydroponic model.

5.We grow in a controlled environment that is designed to mimic the natural conditions required for optimal plant growth. This not only eliminates the threat of unwanted pests and extreme weather but also ensures that we can grow our produce sustainably and without the need for harmful chemicals.

Farmer Ni, a native New Yorker from humble beginnings, pays homage to her grandmother, Ms. Penny, who planted the first seed and transformed her love for nature. Ms. Penny, who maintained a kitchen garden in their small backyard in Queens, left a legacy of health and wellness, which is the heart of PUF's mission. Farmer Ni believes in the power of plants, and she is passionately dedicated to fostering a culture of lifelong learning, constantly seeking new ways to improve and innovate. 'One seed at a time' is not just a motto but a commitment to promoting health and wellness through sustainable urban farming.
